InstantBox terms and conditions<\/h1><\/div>

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed with InstantBox, a Belgian photobooth rental company, and govern the contractual relationship between InstantBox and its customers, unless otherwise agreed in writing.<\/p>\n

1. Corporate identity<\/b><\/p>\n

2. Orders and acceptance<\/b><\/p>\n

All orders become binding after written acceptance (signed offer or e-mail confirmation). Acceptance commits the customer personally and jointly and severally with the legal entity he represents. Offers are valid for 15 days unless otherwise stated. <\/p>\n

3. Payment<\/b><\/p>\n

A 50% deposit is required within 10 days of acceptance. The balance is payable before the event or when the invoice is due. In the event of late payment, interest of 12%\/year and a surcharge of 20% (minimum \u20ac150) may be applied. Failure to pay an invoice will result in immediate payment of all sums due. <\/p>\n

4. Delivery and installation<\/b><\/p>\n

Delivery times are indicative. The customer cannot claim any compensation in the event of delay. Delivery and installation are carried out by InstantBox or by the customer by agreement. A flat, stable, sheltered and accessible location must be provided by the customer. <\/p>\n

5. Deposit and return<\/b><\/p>\n

A deposit of at least \u20ac500 may be required in certain cases. Equipment is tested within 7 days of return. Any damage or shortcomings will be invoiced and deducted from the deposit if necessary. <\/p>\n

6. Use and responsibility of the customer<\/b><\/p>\n

The customer is responsible for the equipment from departure to return, including in the event of theft, loss or damage. He\/she must take all measures to ensure the safety of the equipment. Civil liability insurance is recommended. An optional insurance of 45 \u20ac per equipment can be subscribed. <\/p>\n

7. Optional insurance<\/b><\/p>\n

The insurance covers certain material damages (excluding theft, misuse or gross negligence). The customer must report any damage within 24 hours. In the absence of insurance, the customer is obliged to use his own insurance or to pay the costs. <\/p>\n

8. Cancellation<\/b><\/p>\n

In the event of cancellation by the co-contractor for any reason whatsoever, the latter is liable to pay compensation of 50% of the invoiced amount if the cancellation occurs between 15 and 8 days before the service, <\/span>66% if it occurs between 8 and 3 days before the service, <\/span>100% of the invoiced amount if it occurs less than 3 days before the service.<\/span><\/p>\n

This indemnity may not be less than the reimbursement of all expenses incurred by InstantBox (contributors, graphic designers, subcontractors, etc.).<\/p>\n

9. Photo gallery and intellectual property<\/b><\/p>\n

Photos are made available via an online gallery for 3 months. InstantBox may use certain images for promotional purposes unless the customer gives written permission. All content remains the property of InstantBox. <\/p>\n

10. Maintenance and warranty<\/b><\/p>\n

Technical interventions due to misuse are invoiced at \u20ac50\/hour, excluding travel expenses and parts. The equipment is guaranteed against defects in accordance with the supplier’s terms and conditions, for the duration of the rental period. <\/p>\n

11. Liability and force majeure<\/b><\/p>\n

InstantBox cannot be held responsible in the event of force majeure (strikes, bad weather, illness, etc.) delays or impediments beyond its control. All liability is limited to a maximum of \u20ac2,000, except in the case of wilful misconduct or gross negligence. <\/p>\n

12. Applicable law and disputes<\/b><\/p>\n

The GTC are governed by Belgian law. The courts of Walloon Brabant shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. <\/p>\n
